![]() ![]() But its a brand new sled and i didnt want to pick at it myself so i carried the sled to the yamaha dealer i bought it from and they said they'd have it fixed by tuesday since they're not working on sunday and monday, but i got a call an hour after i brought it down there and they had it fixed. The caution light will come on even if the sled was low on gas. Hey thanks for you reply, but there are high coolant temperature lgiths, low coolant lights low gas lights and so on on the machine, but the Engine light was the only one out of them all that would flick on as i was trying to start the machine. If someone could please help me with my problem it would be greatly appreciated. this means that if the throttle is pressed, or the throttle cable is somehow pinched a little while you turn the engine over, the machine will not start, but i checked everything and the throttle is not opened whatsoever. Another thing is, this sled has a T.O.R.S system. in the owners manual it says if the engine light and the warning lights come on, they are flashing and an error code comes up which you have to report to the yamaha dealership so they can find out the problem. I would just like to know why the engine light and the warning lights are on. The low coolant light doesnt bother me because i know it will go off as soon as the engine is started. The only problem is, when i turn the engine over, the yellow warning light come on and the engine light (self diagnosis warning indicator) comes on but the engine will not start. Once the engine is warmed up this light will go off. This means that the coolant temperature is low and the engine needs to be warmed up. I went to start it up today to move it, and the Low Coolant temperature light comes on as ususal as soon as i turn the key. ![]() The only time the engine was started was in the garage. I have a brand new 2009 yamaha Apex MTX, that has never even been driven on snow yet.
